About
Hi, I’m Chett D’Angelo. I’m an actor born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I have an Associates Degree in Film from Borough of Manhattan Community College. I’m a Meisner trained actor and a graduate from Maggie Flanigan Studio.
I started working in film production back in 2017. I’m a trans man and around that time I was still identifying as female. Transitioning to male is what led me to become an actor because I wanted to help shift representation in film/tv for the transgender community. Not only through playing trans male roles but also cis-gender male roles as well. It’s important for me to have these parts of my identity and community handled with a lot of care. I want others to gain more understanding and acceptance of us being that we’ve always been misunderstood/misrepresented in this world.
I’ve been told that I seem like the mafia boss’s son who can’t seem to get it right. I’m the intimidating guy with a huge heart and soul. I’m the rebel if it means helping the underdog. I’m also the underdog who’s lost but has always overcome any odds against him by finding himself. I am also the biggest goofball and love to make people laugh.
